Myles Gaines '13

Myles Gaines is an ETF sales specialist at Capital Group, home of American Funds. In this role, he focuses on ETF education, portfolio construction, and driving sales growth. Before joining Capital Group in 2024, Myles was part of the iShares business at BlackRock, where he held a similar role. He began his career as an associate at Putnam Investments.

Myles earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Amherst College. During his time at Amherst, he was a four-year member and co-captain of the football team and remains an active Amherst Football Alumni member. He also co-founded the Council of Amherst College Student-Athletes of Color, a support group dedicated to empowering student-athletes of color on campus.

Myles is a proud St. Luke’s alumnus from the Class of 2013 who co-captained the football team, served as a student ambassador, and participated in theater productions.

He currently lives in Bloomfield, CT, with his wife and their newborn son.
